  • Do you support Microsoft Terminal Server?
  • How is VDI users licensed ?
  • Is Azure Virtual Desktop supported?
  • Is Amazon WS supported?
  • Are Windows 365 Cloud PCs supported?

Do you support Microsoft Terminal Server?

Yes. DefensX can identify end user browsers separately and let you to apply policies per user. DNS is an operating system tool and with legacy DNS tools it is not possible to identify end-users sharing the same computer simultaneously.

How is VDI users licensed ?

There is not any extra licensing for Microsoft Terminal Server, Azure Virtual Desktop, Amazon Workspaces and similar VDI/DaaS instances. You can deploy agents on these virtual instances and any end-user logging on to these instances will consume one end-point license.

Tip
Please note that we do not recommend to embed DefensX agent in the golden images.

Is Azure Virtual Desktop supported?

Yes. You can deploy DefensX agent on the Azure Virtual Desktop environment.

Is Amazon WS supported?

Yes. You can deploy DefensX agent on the Amazon Workspaces environment.

Are Windows 365 Cloud PCs supported?

Yes. With DefensX Kernel Driver mode, you can continue applying browser policies through the DefensX extension or enforce them via the DNS Agent on fat clients.
