Bypass OptionIn this document
DefensX Bypass Protection is designed as a troubleshooting feature that allows administrators to give the end users the ability to temporarily disable DefensX protection on a deployment group or a specific agent. When enabled, end users can bypass DefensX protection for 5 minutes, helping administrators investigate access issues, verify policy behavior, or troubleshoot user-specific problems without making permanent configuration changes.
How to Enable for DeploymentTo enable Bypass Mode for a specific deployment, click on the Advanced Options icon for the relevant deployment on the Policy Groups page.
Once Bypass Mode is enabled, the bypass option will be enabled for all agents in the deployment.
When a user clicks the Bypass protection button, all protections, including DNS, Secure Browser, and AI, will be bypassed for 300 seconds.
How to Enable for Specific AgentTo enable Bypass Mode for a specific computer, click on the number of deployed agents for the relevant deployment on the Policy Groups page.
In the Deployed Agents list, click the Advanced Options for the computer you want to configure.
Finally, enable Bypass Mode.
