DefensX Auto Pilot is an AI-driven module that helps organizations manage the human risk factor in cybersecurity. Since employees spend nearly 85% of their workday in the browser, Auto Pilot continuously monitors user behavior in real time, identifies risky patterns, and automatically delivers personalized micro-trainings across four key parameters: Password Hygiene, Malware Safety, Sensitive Data Safety, and Social Engineering Awareness. Users learn from their own interactions and mistakes while the system reinforces proper security practices over time without placing any additional workload on IT or security teams.

Overview

The Auto Pilot page is organized into three sections: Trainings, Templates, and Public Templates. Trainings lists all trainings, Templates shows the created templates, and Public Templates contains ready-made content provided by DefensX.

Three buttons at the top right let you get started:

+ New Training: Build a completely custom training from the ground up without any template.

+ New Template: Create a reusable template for future usage.

+ Create From Template: Use an existing template to set up a training.

Building a Training From Scratch

Click + New Training to open the creation form.

Enter a Training Title, provide a Video URL, and select the languages you want to support.

Once done, click Create this will take you to the training detail page where all the configuration happens across four tabs: Instances, Questions, Translation, and + Add Translation.

Questions

Note
The training needs at least one question before it can go live.

The Questions tab is where you build the quiz for your training.

Click + New Question, give it a Title, and set its Position to control the order it appears. By default the question comes with a few answer options if you need more, just hit Create Answer to add additional ones.

Once all your answers are in place, mark the correct one with Set as Correct and click Create Question to save.

Translation

The Translation tab shows all questions and answers alongside their translated versions. Any translation can be edited using the pencil icon next to it. If additional languages are needed beyond what was selected during creation, + Add Translation is always there to add more.

Instances

An instance defines when the training runs, who receives it, and how it behaves.

Navigate to the Instances tab and click + New Instance.

Set the Start Date and Duration, then configure Group Selection by default the training is delivered to all users, but it can be limited to specific groups if needed.

Enabling Advanced Settings reveals additional controls:

Video URL: Override the survey’s video for this specific instance.

Can Postponed?: Allows users to postpone the training notification. Postpone Limit and Postpone Interval control how many times and for how long.

Enforced?: When enabled, users must complete the training and cannot skip it.

Can skip video?: When disabled, users are required to watch the full video before proceeding.

Can change answers?: When disabled, answers cannot be modified after submission.

Exclude completed users: Users who have already completed a previous instance of this training will be automatically excluded.

Thresholds: Define the maximum Cyber Resilience score a user can have and still be included in the training. Users scoring below the defined value are included, and setting a threshold to 0 disables it. Thresholds can be configured for Password Hygiene, Social Engineering Safety, Sensitive Data Safety, Malware Safety, and an Overall Score.

Once everything is configured, click Create Instance to save. The instance will appear in the list showing its status, time range, total participant count, and options to view Results, edit, or delete.

With at least one question in place, click PLAY to start the training.

Results

Clicking Results on any instance opens a detailed breakdown of participant progress across three tabs Completed, Unfinished, and Did not Participate. For each completed user, the Cyber Resilience Score, total questions answered, correct answers, and wrong answers are all visible at a glance.

Creating a Template

A template is a saved training configuration that can be reused across multiple trainings.

Click + New Template to open the form.

The Training Title, Video URL, and Translation fields work the same way as described in the Building a Training From Scratch section.

Advanced Settings here focus specifically on postponement: Can Postponed?, Postpone Limit, and Postpone Interval.

Screenshot%202026 04 15%20at%2019.50.14

Thresholds work exactly as covered in the Instances section.

Screenshot%202026 04 15%20at%2019.51.34

The only option specific to templates is Is Public. When enabled, the template appears in the Public Templates list and becomes accessible globally.

Screenshot%202026 04 15%20at%2019.52.57

Click Create to save. The template detail page opens where questions and translations can be added following the same process described in the Building a Training From Scratch section.

Using a Template

Clicking + Create From Template opens the Public Templates library, which also includes any templates that have been made public.

Screenshot%202026 04 15%20at%2019.55.08

Each template offers three ways to use it:

Auto Pilot is the fully automated option. It applies the template’s preconfigured thresholds and automatically schedules monthly trainings for users who need them. Select the user groups, review the thresholds, and click Start Training. The training starts immediately and appears on the main page with its mode set to Auto Pilot.

Use Directly deploys the template’s content with custom scheduling. Set the Start Date, Duration, Group Selection, and Advanced Settings, then click Create. The training is added to the list with an instance ready to go. Click PLAY whenever ready to go live.

Clone creates a full copy of the template including all questions and settings, and places it in the Trainings list as an editable training. From there the questions can be modified, instances added, translations managed, and everything configured before going live.

Screenshot%202026 04 15%20at%2019.57.04

Use Preview to review the video and questions before making a decision.

Summary

Auto Pilot ensures that the right users get the right training at the right time automatically, continuously, and without manual effort. As Cyber Resilience scores improve over time, Auto Pilot adjusts accordingly, making it a sustainable and self-reinforcing layer of human risk management across the organization.
